Publishing
Manuscript to market.
Written, illustrated, designed and published. One team takes your book from idea to Amazon.
The problem
Getting a book made usually means hiring four or five strangers: an editor, an illustrator, a cover designer, someone to format the interior, and someone who understands Amazon’s upload process. Each hands off to the next, nobody owns the whole book, and you become the project manager.
We do all of it, with one person accountable from first page to final upload.
What we do
Writing
Ghostwriting, co-writing, or polishing the draft you already have
Illustration
Children’s book spreads, character design, chapter art and spot illustrations, in watercolor, cartoon and other styles
Cover design
Front, spine and back, built to stand out as a thumbnail on Amazon, where most buying decisions happen
Interior layout
Picture books, novels, journals and business books, laid out for print and Kindle
Publishing
We set up your book on Amazon KDP in your account, so you keep every royalty
Animated book trailers
A short animated video for your launch, made by our animation studio
How it works
01
Book plan.
We agree on format, page count, trim size, art style and timeline, and you get a fixed price for the whole book.
02
Characters and style first.
For illustrated books, you approve the character designs and one finished page before we do the rest. No surprises at page 20.
03
Production, with approvals at each stage.
Rough sketches, then final art, then layout. You approve each milestone before it’s paid.
04
Publish and launch.
Print-ready and Kindle files, uploaded and through Amazon’s checks. Your book goes live under your name.
Proof, not promises
Princess Anaisha and the Great One Horned Beast.
A children’s picture book made for a family. We wrote it, painted it in digital watercolor, laid it out and published it on Amazon. See it on Amazon →
The Ugga books.
He Said Ugga, She Said Grrr (on Amazon) and Rise of the Ugga Pack (on Amazon): illustrated humor novels of 300+ pages, written, designed and published by Monte in Kindle and paperback.
The Power of Small.
Big results don’t come from big leaps—they come from small, consistent actions.
In a world obsessed with overnight success, The Power of Small brings you back to what really works: the quiet, daily effort that compounds into lasting transformation. Through inspiring stories, practical tools, and science-backed insights, Saurabh teaches you how to turn small habits into extraordinary outcomes. See it on Amazon →
The Not So Diabolical Crossbow.
That Terrible Nasty Crossbow. Historians have for years declared that Innocent II banned the crossbow at the Second Lateran Council because the weapon struck terror into the upper crust of European society. Oops. They missed this one. This thesis examines the alleged ban and fills in the gaps that have been missed for so long now. See it on Lulu →
From book to screen.
The Ugga books became Uggalot, our 2D animated series. When your book needs a trailer or more, the same team can animate it. Watch Episode 1 →

Who this is for
Yes, if:
- You’ve written a children’s book and need it illustrated and published.
- You want to make a book for your family: a grandparent’s story, a child’s adventure, a family legacy.
- You’re a coach, consultant or speaker who wants a professional book that brings in business.
- You’d rather have one accountable team than manage five freelancers.
Not for you if:
- You’re looking for a literary agent or a traditional publishing deal. We get your book published and selling on Amazon; we don’t pitch it to publishing houses.
- You want the cheapest illustrator on the internet.
Who you’ll work with
Monte Turner, author and publisher. Based in Leander, Texas. Published author of the Ugga series and project lead on every book. You talk to me throughout, not a sales team.
Our art team. The illustrators and animators at Caveman Productions, the studio behind Uggalot.
FAQ
Who owns the book?
You do: the rights, the artwork and every royalty. It’s published in your Amazon account.
Do I need to know how Amazon publishing works?
No. We handle trim size, bleed, spine width, files and upload, and walk you through it.
How long does it take?
About 6–8 weeks for a picture book, and 3–4 weeks for cover and layout on a finished manuscript.
Can I see the art before committing to the whole book?
Yes. Character designs and one finished page come first, as their own paid milestone.
Can you print copies?
Amazon prints on demand, and you can order author copies at cost directly from your account.
